Guide
How it works
Postsorter adds its controls to the Instagram or TikTok profile you already have open. Here is the whole flow, from loading a profile to saving a video.
Load a profile and sort it
- 1
Open a profile
Go to any Instagram or TikTok profile in your desktop browser. Make sure the extension is installed and activated (activation guide).
- 2
Click “Load all posts”
Postsorter scrolls the profile for you until every post is loaded. Big profiles take longer, and you can adjust the scroll speed in the toolbar.
- 3
Pick a sort order
Choose views, likes, comments, shares, saves, date or duration in the sort toolbar. The whole grid re-orders, with stats printed on each post.
- 4
Save what you need
Download a video, cover or music straight from the grid, or copy a caption. Turn any tool off from the extension popup if you do not need it.
Try the sorting here
This is a sample profile with made-up numbers. Change the sort order to see how the grid re-orders.

Sorted by Views, descending. 6 posts shown.
Sample data for @wanderbites. The extension adds these stats to every real post, right on the page.
What you get on the page
Sort by any metric

One-click downloads
Save the video, cover image, music or the whole post straight from the grid.
Profile insights
Followers, posts, average likes and comments, engagement rate. Download the profile picture or copy the bio.
Copy captions
Copy any caption with a single click.
Auto-scroll controls
Sort toolbar with adjustable scroll speed and back-to-top. Turn any tool off in settings.
Good to know
- Sorting and statistics are worked out in your own browser from what the page already shows.
- You only see the numbers the platform itself shows. If a platform hides a number, it cannot be sorted.
- Instagram and TikTok change their pages often. When that breaks something we post it on the known issues page and fix it in an update (see the changelog).
